Press Release: Solidarity in Action: Auchan and Stëmm vun der Strooss Strengthen Their Shared Commitment

On February 11th, a check for €3,533.20 was officially handed over to Stëmm vun der Strooss during a ceremony held at Auchan Kirchberg.

Present at the donation ceremony were Marie Baerthele, Angélique Simon, Julie Marchand, Hélène Ranger, and Mathias Santerre representing Auchan, as well as Alexandra Oxacelay, director of Stëmm vun der Strooss.

The amount collected comes from the gift wrapping stand set up at Auchan for three weeks in December. On this occasion, 80 volunteers from partner companies, high school students (ISL), and internal volunteers from Stëmm vun der Strooss took turns wrapping packages for customers. The company volunteers came notably from State Street, US Bank, Post, Fidelity International, Lombard Odier, Ogier, BNY, Sodexo, A&O Shearman, Deloitte, Coca-Cola, and Schroders. Their commitment and availability turned this friendly action into a true wave of solidarity for people in precarious situations.

Long-time partners, Auchan and Stëmm vun der Strooss continue their collaboration with the shared desire to develop new solidarity initiatives. Other activities are already in preparation and will soon strengthen the support provided to disadvantaged people.
